Primary Duties
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop and communicate appropriate, quality and timely responses to requests for medical information in APAC region, including China & India
\xef\x82\xa7 Develop and implement medical information support materials
\xef\x82\xa7 Report potential adverse events and product issues to appropriate teams
\xef\x82\xa7 Support management of medical information providers
\xef\x82\xa7 Support regional SMS activities as directed by Regional Head as required

Responsibilities
70% of Time:
Develop and communicate appropriate, quality and timely responses to Medical Information requests

  • Internally or in collaboration with Medical Communications and Global Medical Teams, develop and communicate timely, accurate responses to unique and escalated inquires
  • Develop medical information materials (e.g. Standard Response Letters, Frequently Asked Questions)
30% of Time:
Support management of medical information providers
  • Manage compliant delivery of vendor services, including call center setup and implementation, ongoing training and reporting
Education and Experience Requirements
\xef\x82\xa7 A medical or scientific degree is required
\xef\x82\xa7
5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within a matrix structure is required
\xef\x82\xa7
5 years of experience within medical affairs, clinical research, medical writing or PV/safety roles (e.g. Medical Information, Medical Communications, Pharmacovigilance/Safety)
\xef\x82\xa7 Experience managing projects is preferred
\xef\x82\xa7 Knowledge of medical information best practices, legal and regulatory requirements, Codes of Practice, Standard Operating Practices and guidelines is preferred.
\xef\x82\xa7 Knowledge and experience of best practices, legal and regulatory requirements, Medicine\xe2\x80\x99s Australia Codes of conduct, Standard Operating Practices and guidelines of Australia Pharmaceutical Market is desirable.
