We are collaborating with a multi-award-winning design studio renowned for its innovative, experiential interiors across mixed-use, hospitality, and residential projects. Celebrated for blending bold concepts with thoughtful functionality, the studio is seeking a Mixed-Use Interior Designer to join its Singapore team.
This role is ideal for a designer with 5-8 years of professional experience who thrives at the intersection of creativity and technical precision. You will contribute to the design of dynamic mixed-use developments, translating design concepts into practical, high-quality environments, while collaborating closely with senior leadership and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of mixed-use developments, including residential, retail, hospitality, and F&B components
- Develop concept designs, mood boards, and visual storytelling presentations that reflect innovative spatial experiences
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and technical documentation packages for multiple project components
- Source and specify FF&E, materials, and finishes aligned with design vision and project requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews, clearly articulating design intent
- Conduct site visits to monitor quality, resolve design-related issues, and maintain design integrity during construction
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to an open, collaborative studio culture
Key Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional interior design experience, with strong exposure to mixed-use or large-scale hospitality/residential projects
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- Portfolio demonstrating creativity, conceptual storytelling, and detailed execution across complex projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Revit is a plus
- Knowledge of FF&E processes, materiality, and spatial planning for integrated developments
- Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents preferred
