JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer who will bring graphics to life. You will work for an LA-based Beauty Company that manages everything from concept creation to distribution, building and managing their social presence for its brands. As a Motion Graphics Designer, You will execute motion graphics strategy, run campaigns. You will create storyboards for video and animation, bringing fluid engaging motion to visually communicate the message of the brand. You will create high-quality original content, delivering life-like creative and spectacular animations. You will be required to produce first class online and offline materials for all marketing/social channels and work closely with our design/social team to to brainstorm and create high quality video content that reflect the brand's personality and identityRESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies to improve business visibility and brand awareness.

• Responsible for delivering innovative plans that result in increased engagement, acquisition, and conversion.

• Participate in planning and organization of the overarching motion graphics strategy across all channels (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube)

• Work closely with other team members with new concepts and ideas by providing insights and analytical POV.

• Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics

• Prepare conceptual layouts for the motion graphic project.

• Master the ability to turn any branded content into a volume of social gold (clips, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, copy, etc.)

• Assist in selecting appropriate audio, graphic and animation styles for the project.

• Create 2D/ 3D graphics

• Create animated text overlays and effects

• Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc

• Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and organization of graphic files

• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.

• Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques

• Support PR/Social team with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Exposure in the beauty industry is a plus

• Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects to be submitted with your application

• Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and complete assignments on time.

• You possess strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud

• You have a keen eye for design and aesthetics

• A passion for creative storytelling and concept development

• Extensive knowledge of video formats and output
