Job Description

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assembly, fitting, basic tool room machining, mould development, implementing process improvements for tool manufacturing and liaise with machining technician for process planning and scheduling of project

\xc2\xb7 Discuss tooling drawing with Designer to ensure tooling design is meeting customer product requirement

\xc2\xb7 Assemble, fitting and troubleshooting of tooling related issue

\xc2\xb7 Fabricate tooling components and inserts according to tooling drawing

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with Production Technician for execution/planning on mold testing

\xc2\xb7 Ensure tool manufacturing and trial meeting planned schedule

\xc2\xb7 Initiate corrective action if first article or parts not meeting specification

\xc2\xb7 Ensure tool room facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used

\xc2\xb7 Ensure tool room health and safety precautions are taken care at all times

\xc2\xb7 Participate in Continuous Improvement Project

\xc2\xb7 Any other ad hoc jobs assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of experience in mold manufacturing tool room environment

\xc2\xb7 ITC or Nitec certificate in Tool & Die Trade
