Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide BAU Application support for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) system
• Manage and assess impact of requirements coming from source-systems and users.
• Understand strategic planning, perform design and systems analysis.
• Follow through the issue resolution and/or establish resolution plan.
• Review, but not limited to, requirements document, design specifications, SIT test plan, technical impact assessment, source code documentation
• Guide developers in the understanding of the required specifications.
• Validate application conformance to specifications
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
• Any other responsibilities that may be given by supervisor or manager

Role Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of C#/.Net technology

• Comfortable with Unix/Linux operating systems
• More than 5 years of prior developer experience
• Experience with FPA solutions in the market are required
• Having executed a full project cycle of FPA implementation or major upgrade experience
• Conversant of the dynamics between on premise and cloud applications
• Possess strong planning, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with strong domain knowledge in insurance
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
• Good communication skills and strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
