A regional life sciences group is seeking a

Network & Systems Engineer

to support and evolve its enterprise IT infrastructure across Southeast Asia. The role blends

system administration, cloud and virtualization management, network security

, and

end-user support

, contributing to regional digital transformation and operational excellence in the healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support enterprise IT systems including servers, storage, endpoints, IP phones, and software platforms. Administer services such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), and Hyper-V. Support network infrastructure and security (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN). Deliver Level 1 & 2 support and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes. Lead or support IT projects, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance. Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and asset inventories. Mentor junior IT staff and liaise with vendors for ongoing services and support.

Requirements

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in IT network/system administration roles. Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, M365, AD, and network security. Familiar with virtualization (Hyper-V), storage systems, and endpoint management. Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online). Ability to manage multiple priorities and support users across different locations. Strong communication skills and willingness to travel regionally when needed.

Preferred Skills / Certifications

MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent certifications. PowerShell scripting and process automation. Experience with backup solutions, ERP systems (e.g., NAVISION), and disaster recovery planning.
