We are seeking an experienced

Network Engineer

to design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure that supports critical business systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and a passion for maintaining high service availability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement new network solutions and improve or expand existing ones. Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, load balancers, and switches. Analyse network problems, perform troubleshooting, and track issues through resolution. Monitor device status, bandwidth usage, and network performance. Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders, principals, or vendors when required. Schedule and perform periodic maintenance for data centre network infrastructure. Plan and manage change requests or maintenance activities, including firmware patches. Ensure zero service-level breaches and 100% compliance with policy and procedure. Execute change and service requests as assigned by the team lead within SLA timelines. Manage tickets assigned by the service desk according to SLA. Administer network devices and perform firmware patching. Manage subcontractors involved in network installation or maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementation and troubleshooting. Generate network performance and SLA reports for monthly operations reviews.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience as a

Network Engineer

in an operational environment. Strong understanding of networking concepts and system design. Hands-on experience with

Cisco

equipment;

Cisco ACI

experience is an advantage. Experience in

cloud environments

preferred. Possess

CCNA or CCNP certification

(required). ITIL certification will be an added advantage. Strong sense of urgency for service performance and recovery turnaround. Excellent scheduling, multitasking, and documentation skills. Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with a collaborative mindset. Ability to meet stringent SLA requirements and maintain operational excellence.
