About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer
to join our Defence team in delivering mission-critical, wide-area network systems.You will play a pivotal role in the
design, integration, and deployment
of server and network-based solutions to support national defence and security.This is a hands-on role involving
system analysis
,testing
,vendor management
, andcustomer-facing validation
.Key Responsibilities
Participate in the
definition, design, installation, and delivery
of systems comprising servers and network elements deployed overwide-area networks.
Identify contractual system requirements (including interface specifications) and propose effective solutions. Work with Project/System Managers to developsystem specifications
and documentation. Set up and maintaintest beds
for development, integration, and validation activities. Manage vendors, including equipment sourcing and evaluation. Formulatesystem validation plans
and design acceptance test cases. Support and conductAcceptance Testing
with customers and compile test reports.What We're Looking For
Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related fields. Strong
analytical skills
and excellenttechnical writing/documentation ability
. Hands-on interest inhardware integration, testing, and system deployment
. Team player with willingness tomentor and share knowledge
with others. Relevant certifications such asCisco (CCNA/CCNP)
and/orRed Hat
