New Channels Manager

Castlery is looking for a New Channels Manager to join our Growth Marketing team!

A newly created role, New Channels Manager will report to the Organic & New Channels Senior Manager and help build and drive sustainable growth and find new channels to drive Castlery\'s continuous growth at different stages.

This role will have a direct impact on building new marketing channels and streams for Castlery, you will be able to experiment, explore, scale, and build unique channels that facilitate the company\'s growth, you will find yourself building new frameworks and test new channels. What you\'ll be doing

  • Come up with the framework to evaluate, decide and test new channels. With many possible channels and limited resources, it\'s critical to be able to identify and prioritize the right channels with calculated risks and returns. You would need to drive market research, data collection, testing frameworks, gather resources and execution processes to build systematic approaches for new channels.
  • Experiment new channels. You will need to drive experiments of new channels, like Telegram, Podcast, Netflix, etc. Lead the executions to increase the likelihood of the success of new channels.
  • Scale new channels. Once successful experiments of new channels, you will setup operational processes to scale the channel. These processes are typically new and you will need to collaborate with stakeholders to align.
  • Measure the impact of the Organic and New Channels. Unlike Facebook, Google and other existing channels, the new channels or word of mouth are usually harder to track and measure the impact. You would need to develop metrics and measurement approaches with the analytics team to be able to quantify the impact.
  • Understand the concept of growth loop and build the loops into our channels. To drive continuous growth, it\'s not only about new channels, but also to drive growth loops from existing channels and content. For example, content growth loop from advocates, followers, communities etc.
  • Leading and coaching the team to drive excellent executions. As the company grows and evolves, people will also need to grow their capabilities. You will foresee the company\'s needs, know the potential and aspirations of people, and grow the team to the next level.
What you\'ll need
  • At least 5 years\' experience in marketing, growth, eCommerce channel management, product management or product marketing, and at least 1 year of manager experience.
  • Experience in Affiliates, Partnerships, Direct Buying and some emerging new channels
  • Experience in growing a country or owning the growth strategies of a product or a category
  • Experience in achieving targets with insights, planning and good executions.
  • An entrepreneur who is passionate about the latest trends and technologies in the market, and brings the new trends and information into the team
  • You have strategic thinking, who understands the business context and customers well, and is able to drive clear strategies continuously for the team
  • You will be curious and willing to dive deep into the insights behind data. And use data to guide the decision and initiatives.
  • You are comfortable gathering relevant data, making assumptions and decisions, measuring and validating assumptions in the channel operations.
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate the teams to test new channels
  • You are a good balancer of strategic mindset and bias for action. You know when to think deeper and when to execute fast.
  • Have capabilities in identifying and solving complex problems innovatively, and be proactive in finding resources and prioritization
  • Is able to lead some cross-functional projects independently, build processes to collaborate with other teams
