What the role is:As a New Media Officer in the Public Affairs Department, you create and execute SPF\'s social media strategies to establish a strong and credible online presence. You will be part of a team responsible for curating and publishing engaging social media content to raise public awareness on safety and security issues in Singapore. It is a challenging role which requires you to be creative in developing these social media content and connect with the online community while staying aligned with the organisation\'s mission to prevent, deter and detect crime.What you will be working on:We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual who can work well under stress to be part of our team. You are required to manage the SPF\'s social media platforms and curate engaging content that enhances the SPF brand. You will conceptualise, script and produce quality social media content to bolster police messages and narratives. You will need to be familiar with design and editing software such as Adobe suite and CapCut, that will help you in your content creation.What we are looking for:

• Background preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Applicants in other disciplines with strong interest and experience in content creation will also be considered. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be proficient in English and at least one other official language in Singapore. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be social media savvy and preferably with 2 years of experience in creating and curating social media content on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge in design and editing software such as Adobe suite and CapCut. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in event and studio photography is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent, adaptable and a good team player. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communications skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and methodical.
