Job Description

• Coordinate, monitor and issuing of engineering document, making of prototype and implementation of new products effectively and efficiently so as to ensure that quality, delivery and cost of prototype and new products are competitive at all time.
• Provide Engineering base management analysis such as Failure Mode Evaluation Analysis, FMEA, (Potential Failure Mode Analysis) on all cost factors at the time of prototype stage to Product Production, so as to ensure that new product’s Factory Cost (FC) are competitive in the market.
• Coordinate, administration and issuing of engineering documents.
• Process and issuing of ORF based on the requirement of Parts / Products Manufacturing Specification (PMS).
• Periodic review of all engineering documents issued and the status of implementation for the purpose of traceability.
• Administration and collaborate Prototype making and controls.
• Coordinate the Prototype making by supporting on all the Engineering aspect.
• Provide in sourcing of new parts as per prototype requirement.
• Execute Supplier / Vendor audits and verification for the decision of selecting suppliers / vendors.
• Verify material lists, drawings before providing to suppliers / vendors for quotation.
• Made plans, schedules and information sharing to all related department so as to ensure that prototype is made on time.
• Conduct periodic reviews of all prototype making so as to ensure systematic approaches had been made based QDC.
• Provide solution for any prototypes that required to be mass production so as to keep the prototype cost competitive at all time.
• Participate in Organization’s productivity management programs
• Participate and support the execution of Productivity Improvement activities (SSS) / (NYPS)
• Participate, support the implementation of small group improvement activities (LETS)
• Collaborate with improvement task force to enhance Safety and Quality Management programs.
• Enhance the existing International accreditation management system through establishment of new procedures, writing, updating and review of work standard.

• ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS)
• ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management (OHSAS)
• Collaborate and support in closing of nonconformance and put in place a corrective and preventive action plan.
• Ensure and maintain 6S + S Management are in place at all times
• Lead by example so as to meet all Corporate Governance compliance.
• Ensure that all engineering documents issued are shared to all depts prior to the implementation according to the due date. Prototype / new products are effective based on Q.D.C.
• Adhoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics)
• Minimum 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field in the PCB manufacturing environment
• Competent in MS Office
• Good statistical and analytical skills
• Good communication, planning and coordination skills
• Overseas travelling is required.
