Full

  • Monitoring of user-end devices, servers, systems, and network devices
  • Trouble ticket reporting and resolution. Provide an escalation point for system-generated events/alerts.
  • First-level Network support checks the physical layer, and check router and Switch status before escalating to 2nd Level Network Support.
  • Comply with established Standard Operating Procedures in response to system alerts and routine tasks.
  • Provide updates (for critical alerts) to our Team Manager/Assistant Team Manager regarding the vendor's active case being worked on.
  • Perform tasks as defined in the NOC shift Report. These tasks include performing backups, checking the status of current jobs, daily checklists, and tape management.
  • Router and Switch / NTP Server Checking and Housekeeping for FTP archive. Ad hoc duties
  • Analyse operational data for network performance, and usage reports for servers. That sends threshold alerts.
  • Demonstrate initiative and provide feedback on existing processes and procedures, assist on long term projects and operational issues as needed
  • Willingness to grow in knowledge and span of responsibility
  • Forms part of Request Fulfilment group specialising in fulfilling certain types of Service Requests (broadly refers to Standard Changes or Pre-Approved Change Request)
  • Responsible to produce breaching and ageing reports for tickets logged by Service Desk
  • Contributes and supports by identifying any gaps or shortcomings in the current processes, procedures and services; proposes or recommends improvements to bridge these gaps
  • Basic diagnosis and provide support to resolve issues related to M365, Active Directory, Windows Operating System
  • Basic know-how and support on Network issues such as Ping, DNS, Traceroute, HTTP, SSL
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
  • 1-2 Years’ experience required in call centre managed services
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • CISCO CCNA Certification (Will be advantageous)
  • Strong Call Handling Skills
  • Familiar with BMC Ticketing System
  • Able to work 12hrs shift (9am to 9pm) and (9pm to 9am) work 4 days and rest 3 days
Location: Henderson Road Duration: 12 Months Contract (Renewal) Salary: S$3,000 - S$4,200, including Shift and Weekend allowances
