Full-time | Day Shift | Hybrid | Mckinley Hills, Taguig | Competitive SalaryThe largest Software company is looking for a highly motivated and flexible NOC Engineer to be part of a group that supports the services of the world's best-selling mobile devices in a fast paced and rewarding environment. In addition, the selected candidate will be collaborating with several Server Operations, Development and/or DevOps Teams across the globe to ensure the availability of the company's systems and services that are being used and enjoyed worldwide.Responsibilities:

• 24x7 proactive monitoring the company's services availability, performance, and operation of the systems environment via monitoring tools, email and chat rooms; ensures issues are taken care off by the appropriate support team and escalated to management according to defined procedures
• Work closely with global teams to resolve critical alerts promptly
• Performs initial troubleshooting, re-assigning to Server Operations, Development and/or DevOps Teams for further investigation & resolution
• Identify potential threats and mitigate risks, act as a guardian of Samsung's services and ensure operational procedures are followed for Event, Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Testing of the company's services and applications via handset/device checks with approved checklists to follow
• Be proactive in process improvement to deliver efficiencies and/or resolve regular operations issues
• Ensure that ITIL's best practices for Event, Incident, Problem and Change Management are being applied
• Providing quality and timely response/escalation of all issues and alerts to second level support team or higher
• Ability to learn and understand all supported services
• Sending appropriate reports on specified time and day
• Creates, maintain and update documentation of the team's various processes regarding services provided within the organization

Key Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any Computer related course
• 2 - 4 years of experience working in an IT environment
• 2 - 4 years of experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools
• Diverse range of technical and operational interests and capabilities, including Cloud Platform Technologies (Amazon Web Services, Azure, Joyent, etc.), Unix / Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, ELK, etc.); or at least had the chance to use, manage and administer one of these technologies
• Passionate about technology and solving IT operations-focused problems
• Knowledgeable in IT Service Management and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification is a plus
• Able to view current processes and procedures as opportunities for enhancement and improvements
• Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long term requirements
• Ability to adapt and thrive in an environment of high growth and continual change
• Must be detail oriented, task driven and have excellent communication skills
• Able to manage own work and mentor new team members in all areas of the role
• Enjoys sharing information, supporting others, and working on a team to achieve team goals
• Open to work on shifting schedule including holidays and weekends
• Willingness to work in designated locations
