Technology & Operations is the backbone of both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients. We are looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer who will be responsible for managing the global network and security infrastructure. The team performs multiple operational tasks, projects and engineering aspects in routing, load balancing, monitoring and optimizing the network. Network Operations Center (NOC) is the foundation of the Global Network Operations team which provides active monitoring and remediation of incidents, alerts and any infrastructure stability issues. The team is also responsible for automation to quickly identify and resolve issues. Responsibilities:
Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA\xe2\x80\x99s etc.
Manage operational network maintenance activities and implement changes
Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
Assist with root cause analysis of incidents
Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis
Help with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
Complete Daily network checks and operational handover duties
Participate in shift rotation coverage
Qualifications
2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
Experience with F5, DNS, Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is desirable
Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP
