As OD & Learning Officer, you will work closely with the OD & Learning Manager and contribute to the design and delivery of people and organizational development strategies and the management of change in support of the organization’s strategic and operational plans. You will work with various cross-functional teams to support a program of continuous organizational performance improvement which helps the Company achieve its ambition of becoming a high performing organization.

You will:

  • Provide support in the conduct of job evaluation system job design, preparation of job descriptions and the correct grading of jobs
  • Facilitate the appraisal process, monitoring compliance with the timetable and ensure consistency of quality in appraisal documentation
  • Execute OD and change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the company’s ambition to be a high performing organization; to include initiatives which foster a high performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm.
  • Support specific performance improvement initiatives, e.g. through the implementation of a new behavioral competency framework and 360 degree feedback process.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions; conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.
  • Design and facilitate in-house events (e.g. workshops, away days) as required.
  • Facilitate in the execution of various activities in support of talent management and succession planning and to co- ordinate the contributions of key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Work with line managers on the design and delivery of appropriate and relevant Individual Development Plans for their staff
  • Develop coaching, mentoring and secondment schemes to support staff development and the achievement of Individual Development Plans.
  • Support the development of a staff skills and knowledge database in order to maximize the diverse talents of the organization.

You may be a fit if:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in HR and/or OD
  • You possess expert knowledge gained through the significant experience working as an OD specialist or as an HR generalist with an OD focus
  • You are able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in organization development particularly around change management and developing organizational culture
  • You are able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in learning & Development, particularly management development and talent management
  • You have demonstrated track record in delivering successful OD projects and supporting major organizational change; influencing, building and sustaining relationships in order to achieve results.
  • Experience of, and commitment to, continuous organizational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent.
  • You have excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • You have demonstrated strength in coaching/mentoring skills.
  • You possess effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.
  • You demonstrate the ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyze findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions.
