What the role is:Responsibilities:Join our dynamic team at the Office of Staff Development and play a pivotal role in shaping staff capability development and career development to meet RP\'s organisational needs. You will spearhead initiatives to shape the talent and leadership development at RP.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities will include:Develop career and leadership development framework and strategies to build RP\'s organisational and workforce capability.Design and develop programmes that support competency-driven growth in RP staff. Conduct competency gaps analysis, design and implementing learning and career development roadmaps, strategies, programmes and processes to develop and engage all levels of staff at the Polytechnic.Adapt and implement career and talent frameworks and initiatives introduced by Public Service Division (PSD).Partner with internal and external stakeholders to plan and support delivery of learning and career development initiatives such as award of sponsorships, structured job rotations and leadership training programmes.Participate in business process reviews to develop user-centric systems that support staff learning and development needs.Oversee administration matters, address staff queries and ensure the smooth operation of training processes.Support in preparing management reports and performing checks on training / sponsorship / claims etc.Provides mentorship to junior team members, supervise daily activities and uphold high standards of work quality.What we are looking for:Requirement:Relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Management, or its related fields.About eight to ten years of relevant work experience in Human Resource, with focus on Career and Leadership Development areas.Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and writing skills.A team player who is able to work independently, adapt in complex and ambiguous situations and comfortable with taking a hands-on approach.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, SharePoint) and digitally-proficient to learn the use of new learning tools.Some experience with IT projects, Workday HCM, SAP HR, Robotics Process Automation, Chatbots and Macro programming will be advantageous.About Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Management and Communication, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.
