What the role is:

The successful job applicant will contribute to the overall student development of students (predominantly in service-learning) at Republic Polytechnic, amongst other duties.

What you will be working on:

• Manage and coordinate service-learning projects such as working with staff and students on executing a successful local/international service-learning project, working with the IPARD model, coaching students on projects, guiding students\' learning, and liaising with community partners. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop and execute service-learning training and workshops for students, such as developing curriculum, planning the curriculum and workshop timeline and schedule, crafting learning journeys, communicating with various stakeholders on programming and participation, inviting and coordinating external speakers, and conducting the training for the students. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with local and international partners to build relationships through calls and visits, sourcing for possible projects with them, conduct a needs analysis, initiate contact between RP and the partner, and invite and coordinate partners to conduct sharing sessions to students. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage student groups, the Service-Learning Club and an interest group that focuses on engaging the deaf community, to conduct activities such as promotion and recruitment of members and to guide the student leaders and members to run and grow the CCA successfully. \xe2\x80\xa2 Use IT and automation tools to streamline work processes and to maximize learning and engagement of students such as develop interactive e-learning packages. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage OSG IT systems to ensure they run smoothly and effectively. This includes tracking of issues reported by users and gathering their feedback and working with the system vendors to improve, troubleshoot and resolve issues timely.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant academic qualifications with at least 3 years of relevant working experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Enjoys working with the youths and prior working experience in youth development or community programming is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and as a team player. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and highly self-motivated \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent administrative, event and time management skills and is able to engage various levels of stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient with MS Office and Power Platform
