Plan and execute key college life events and activities. This includes budgeting, liaising with vendors and stakeholders, booking venues, publicity, managing the event from set-up, actual day to tear-down, as well as post-activity follow-ups.
Oversee internship programmes. This involves engagement with industry partners and stakeholders, managing end-to-end internship processes and module administration, being the main contact point for employer and student matters/queries.
Assist in developing and executing communication strategies to enhance audience engagement and build awareness of Office of Student Life activities and initiatives. This includes creating content, designing graphics (i.e. Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), and managing digital platforms (including but not limited to Instagram and websites).
Work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in conjunction with the college\'s expectations within the prescribed time frame, student interests, safety, health etc. parameters.
Contribute to cross-functional projects, college and department events, as required.
Support other routine duties such as responding to student queries, room booking, logistics, etc.
Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
Degree (Good Honours) and above from a recognized university.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Excellent team worker with the ability to negotiate and compromise whilst taking into account the views of others.
Effective communicator with faculty members, students and external parties, agent.
Well-developed graphic skills for event publicity, computer skills, including a working knowledge of databases, record management systems, spreadsheets and word processing.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
Highly motivated and independent individual with strong problem-solving skills.
