Onyx by J.P. Morgan is a newly-launched business that seeks to reimagine how business are built, grow and interact, by developing innovative applications that leverage cutting edge technology. We seek to build the world's most advanced ecosystem, with ubiquitous access to infrastructure, collaboration networks, services, and expertise.

Onyx Coin Systems is a global team of product designers, technologists, and innovators, joined together by a passion for transforming the way payments are done. We are tasked with providing our clients with new age cash management and payment products.

What will you do?

• Support the product roadmap for Programmable Payments, working closely with Product Development, Product Delivery and Technology teams
• Coordinate and support the New Business Initiative Approval (NBIA) and governance process of Programmable Payments through the appropriate firmwide control processes
• Evaluate and work in partnership with the broader team on clients targeting process
• Partner with other Products (including other Lines of Business) to extend the Programmability features of the service
• Collaborate with functional partners across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Technology and Operations to ensure product viability and scalability
• Escalate, address or mitigate potential risks and challenges in product development and deployment

You are a great fit if:

• You have minimum a Bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of relevant work experience
• You are a highly-motivated, well-organized self-starter with strong project management skills - able to prioritise multiple tasks and bring tasks to completion within established timelines
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey complex ideas simply
• You are both an empathetic thinker - able to put yourself in the shoes of functional partners and client users - to anticipate and pre-empt responses - as well as a hyper-logical thinker with a strong attention to detail - able to break down complex problems into smaller logical ones and prioritise them with solid data
• You are driven by insatiable curiosity and willingness to learn - a steep learning curve doesn't scare you, but excite you!
• You hustle, take ownership, and get things done

Professional experiences that will set you apart:

• Prior work experience in payments, product, and/ or financial services
• Track record in driving programs that enhance transparency, governance or control
• Experience in bringing new/enhanced product through internal governance review process
• Experience in developing innovative improvements or solutions
