  • Join us as an Operation Engineer/Planner for the Motion Business area where you will b e leading our workshop operations, ensuring efficient VSD repairs, maintenance, and testing while maximizing productivity, profitability, and revenue generation. You will be a strong leader, fostering a culture of safety and quality within the workshop.
  • Reporting to the Service Manager and this position is based in Singapore.
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, within the context of supporting local/regional business. Deployment of workshop team in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing VSDs
  • Possessing a deep understanding of VSD operation, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize workshop productivity and resource utilization
  • Fostering a positive and safe work environment, prioritizing employee development. Ensuring efficient scheduling and on-time delivery of workshop services
  • Conducting risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate risks in the workshop
  • Providing clear and concise cost estimates and lead times for workshop services
  • Promoting the value proposition of workshop services to internal and external customers, particularly within the region
  • Preparing professional service/repair/maintenance reports and keep customers updated on base installations
Your background
  • Experience in a workshop environment
  • Strong understanding process optimization and software implementation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to delegate effectively, motivate and develop staff
  • Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset and strong commitment to safety and quality in the workplace
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English
