Manage day-to-day operation(CFR/DAP/FOB) and coordination of crude oil tanker/VLGC, monitoring tanker/VLGC movement and reporting.
Schedule and strategize vessels, optimizing crude loading and/or unloading with charterers, Traders, Operators and internal stakeholders.
Cover vessel vetting and nomination, voyage orders and ship operations monitoring.
Handle Vessel operations, vessel vetting, instructions on loading/discharging/ inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance matters and related trouble-shooting; and handle disputes/demurrage/claims.
Vessel operations(CFR/DAP/FOB), vessel vetting, instructions on loading/discharging/ inspections, demurrage management, cargo insurance matters and related troubleshooting.
Operational communication with oil terminals in Oceania and other regions including urgent responses.
Liaise with buyers, sellers, charterers, shipping brokers, terminal operators, joint ventures partners, Trading team, Middle office team, Finance and Administration Team and related team in HQ to ensure that all the contractual obligations arising from cargo deals and charter parties are met.
Liaise with the finance team to facilitate smooth invoicing and payment for cargoes, freight and all operational expenses.
Liaise with buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint venture partners, etc. to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimise demurrage costs.
Record/update the database related to the above transactions.
Conduct lifting operations in accordance with relevant Offtake agreements and related agreements (possibly including review and cover Offtake agreements and relating agreements)
Support the chartering person and review the related charter party
Attend the necessary meetings with buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint venture partners, Trading team, Middle office team, LNG team, Finance and Administration Team and related team.
Record/update the database related to the above transactions
Make reporting of tanker / VLGC market information (vessel fixtures, etc.) to assist in chartering and trading
Support the Trading team and conduct trading business-related if necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics, Commerce, Law, or any related field. Maritime studies major will be given priority.
Possessing at least 2 years of relevant working experience in an oil/gas trading company handling day-to-day vessel operations/coordination-related duties.
