The creation of this global organization provides new opportunities for security professionals to join Boehringer Ingelheim in our Singapore office with overall accountability and responsibility for BI's areas of security within the APAC region. DESCRIPTION End-to-end accountable and responsible for BI's areas of security (site security, supply chain security, information & know-how protection, travel and expat security, event security, security governance) in the APAC region. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Implementation of the global concepts of security strategies, standards, and programs. Supervising the handling of security incidents and guiding the activities to reduce unwanted effects during security related events. Analysis of security incidents, administration, and quality management of the incident database. Ensure transparency of the incident landscape. Manager and monitor professional follow-up and generate comprehensive reports to all relevant stakeholders, functions and upper management. Lead the regional Operational Security Managers team with a high level of team spirit, specific expertise and flexible cooperation and support. Create a high level of trust and willingness to request assistance/support within BI's global security architecture. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Security, Risk or Crisis Management, or similar studies At least 10 years of extensive job experience in corporate security or related field. Certifications in these areas are preferred Requires extensive expertise in security process, security technology, strategy, and business complexities. Regional exposure experience is required for this role Strong expertise in security management, analytical skills and global knowledge of different threats in combination with methodical and didactic skills to act as a center of excellence for regional APAC management. Ability to integrate functional strategies and manage/execute parallel projects at different locations across the APAC region. Ability to work and lead in multilanguage and multicultural environments
