Characteristics and Ops Constraints) in order to calculate the best routes and speed. * Provide meteorological and oceanographical forecasts and observations data to vessels.
Advice captains for their Passage Planning, before departure and during Ocean crossing.
Optimize all vessel routes as well taking into account vessel\'s observations to comment about Metaocean Forecasts.
Monitor Vessel Performance, Data Collection, Model Calibration and Performance Analysis.
Requirements:
Officer of the watch on OSV vessels for 2 years including passage planning operations.
2 years of offshore experience within a maritime company.
Experience within a vessels weather reporting center or ops monitoring centre will be advantageous.
Experience as Chief Mate or Second Engineer on OSV vessels, Gas-Carrier, Tanker or Bulk Carrier will be advantageous.
Proficient in use of sea keeping software and ops software.
