The Global Markets Division is responsible for Deutsche Bank\xe2\x80\x99s capital markets business, comprising the sales and trading of capital markets products including debt, equity, and other fixed income and currency products. Your key responsibilities:

The key responsibility of the role is to support APAC Cash Operations Head in establishing and executing APAC operating model.

Candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of the evolving industry trends for core operations products and processes as well as regional and global operations demands. Roles and responsibility involves the following aspects,

Risk & Control

Lead Cash Operations in delivering and implementing excellent risk and control framework for all APAC locations

Provide oversight for adequate production controls and escalations, and proactively managing internal and external audits

Proactively driving consistent, standardized, efficient and effective risk and control standards across all APAC locations.

Ensuring regulatory compliance from a regional perspective working with in-branch SMEs on regulatory reporting requirements

Transformation:

Lead and drive Cash operations transformation agenda, includes establishing and monitoring the book of work at regional level. Working with key stakeholders, partners to drive on time and quality execution

Implement transformation agenda to achieve cost target

Drive effective and efficient operating model, includes nearshoring and offshoring .

Production Support:

In assistant to the APAC cash operations head, act as an escalation channel for relevant operational issues. Partner with stakeholders and IT partners to consistently improving our production stabilities.

Drive issue resolution or options articulation around any problems or challenges that crop up in the course of execution of above initiatives.

Your skills and experience:

Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Financial Institution with Corporate and Transaction Banking business.

Has proven experience in Cash and Payments-related Products & Operations

Has proven technical and commercial understanding of the Operations Products and processes as well as Cash Operations and Treasury product knowledge.

Experienced organizational skills with ability to manage large teams across multiple locations.

Proven project management skills in managing risk and control, enterprise level project rollout; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks

Strong analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving

Takes ownership of problems and issues and solves them

Ability to understand different business processes across cash functions and locations especially in the Asia Pacific region

Ability to work in tight deadlines fast-paced environment.

Manage complexity and ambiguity well with proven skills to take leadership in within an operational setup

Entrepreneurial thinking and acting at all times, taking ownership for instigating and executing initiatives

Knowledge of automation toolkit such as Tableau, Alteryx and Robotic Process Automation will be a plus

Working knowledge of human centered design/ design thinking

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
