Operations Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plans, lead and supervise production team to ensure on-time delivery
- Manages and deploy manpower with direct and sub-contractor manpower
- Liaises and coordinate with internal and external parties including engineering, project management, other production departments, vendors, owners and surveyors pertaining to project requirements
- Ensures that safety requirements are observed and complied to
- Coordinates with other departments to resolve technical issues and delay
- Attends production meetings to highlight issues for resolution and update clients on work progress
- Works with design team to ensure proper execution of construction for all piping systems
- Plans and arrange the tools, materials and manpower for onsite fabrication and installation piping works
- Prepares health, safety and risk information where applicable to work practices and toolbox
- Bachelor\'s degree in any engineering or other disciplines
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
- Must be able to board ships, enter confined spaces with limited visibility and have the ability to climb up and down stairs and/or ladders of varying heights.
- Good in planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
