Purpose and Scope

• Responsible for the reliability and availability of a cluster of plants assigned by the HOD and ensure plants assigned meet the GSSE and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the reliability and availability of water assets at all times and mitigate any potential interrupted operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for full compliance of plants in meeting regulatory requirements and GHSSE requirement.

\xc2\xb7 Provide leadership in resolving operational issues with customers.

\xc2\xb7 Set clear direction and principles of operation for the team.

\xc2\xb7 Initiate and lead team to enhance and streamline process and systems through Group capabilities in technical and digitization.

\xc2\xb7 Cross functional support to KAM and BD in securing more customers at JI.

\xc2\xb7 Build core competencies on process engineering for Operation team.

\xc2\xb7 Play an active role in the site management team in driving initiatives set by the Plant Manager.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the P&L (Operation) of the Water Assets and motivate the team on continuous improvement and plant optimization.

\xc2\xb7 Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team, CERT (training will be provided).

Qualifications & Experience

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Chemical engineering / Environmental engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 5 years operation experience preferably in Water / Wastewater treatment plant.

\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership and ability to analyze issues and propose solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to make tough decision and lead the team to deal with challenges effectively.

\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

\xc2\xb7 Well versed in company policies, GHSSE and regulatory requirement and Walk-the-talk is a MUST.

\xc2\xb7 Well versed in SOPs and able to detect deviation during plant inspection/visit.

\xc2\xb7 Critical thinking and strong troubleshooting skills.
