About the position As Operations Manager you will be part of the operations teams within Arch & Hook, reporting to the VP, Global Operation as line manager. As such you will be working within and in collaboration with the production, procurement and logistics professionals from Global Operations and the product design team from Global Marketing. These teams are responsible for the concept, design and execution of client projects and orders - creating, producing and transporting client products according to their needs and project parameters. An opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager is now available, based in Singapore. The focus for this role is to manage all Project Management, Logistic and Quality Assurance team. Actively participate as member of the Operation Department leadership team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Lead the Project Management, Logistic and Quality Assurance teams. Includes assigning responsibilities and tasks based on competencies, customers and availability. Develops the entire team in line with Arch & Hook global directives and processes.
  • Day-to-day operations responsible for delivering on-time, high quality and within budget projects to the customers.
  • Supervises project and contract execution and performance through regular scheduled reviews with management to ensure adherence to contracts and project plans.
  • Leads the teams in making sure that procedures and standards are followed. Support and improves standard processes and ways of working by applying external best practices with internal environment and experience.
  • Ensure that products are designed and supplied in accordance with the customer specifications and the relevant local and international standards.
  • Support team in supplier selection and monitoring ongoing performance. Ensures that other functions (logistic, QA) assign the appropriate resources and competencies for the specific project / contract.
  • Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  • Development of relevant professional skills within the respective team
  • Ensuring that product and technical solutions provided to customers are in accordance with specification and appropriate technical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements of company sustainable supply chain processes.
  • Supervising and guiding quality control of products, packaging and processes.
  • Participate in and manage internal corporate projects.
  • Evaluate and continuously look for effective cross-department solutions and collaborations.
YOUR ATTRIBUTES
  • 10+ years of Project Management experience and related experience.
  • Experience in a Retail or Retail linked industry as a Project Manager is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill to both external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong and proven organizational skill including attention to details, while having multitasking skills.
  • People Management experiment with excellent interpersonal skills and leadership by example.
  • Strong conflict resolution skill.
  • Problem solver, always approaching challenges with a can-do attitude.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification / qualification is a plus.
