A challenging yet fulfilling Operations Senior Accountant (12-month renewable contract) job has become available at a leading global sporting brand. About the Operations Senior Accountant Role:
Reporting to the Operations Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing the global inventory and intercompany accounting activities for the buy/sell operations of the company. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA implementation which enables the company’s optimisation of operational and financial benefits around inventory flow across the global supply chain
• Partner with various stakeholders including geography/country controlling, supply chain and tax to support business requirements
• Maintain integrity of financial statements and compliance with US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements through enabling process improvements and documentation of processes and SOP to meet internal control and reporting requirements
• Drive automation, standardisation and simplification in processes to continuously improve end-to-end processes and maintain strong internal controls governance
• Be responsible for E2E inventory accounting process for buy/sell operations
• Be responsible for the global intercompany accounting processes

To succeed in the Operations Senior Accountant (12-month renewable contract) role, you must have strong SAP skills in the MM/FI modules and accounting operations, inventory accounting and intercompany accouting experience. You are also expected to communicate complex concepts as well as work independently and partner cross functionally with multicultural stakeholders. Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional qualifications
• Five or more years of accounting experience, with at least three years of hands-on experiences in SAP FI/CO and MM modules
• Super user for system migration in SAP S/4HANA experience is highly preferred
• Relevant experience with intercompany and inventory accounting is an advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook with the ability to deploy them effectively for analysis reporting, presentation and process-flow improvement
• Ability to work collaboratively and partner cross functionally with multicultural stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bring across complex concepts succinctly to broad and diverse stakeholders
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with great amount of ambiguity and embrace changes for team success
