  • The Operations Specialist role functions in a support role and coordinating various manufacturing related activities for the Integrated Process Team.

We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyze data collected from shopfloor and make informed decisions for improvements and give guidance to the shift teams.
  • Support all Lean initiatives and acts as the main point of contact for all Productivity improvement activities and processes for the Integrated Process Team.
  • Support our production system associated projects and Kaizens.
  • Be familiar with shop floor activities and extend support to the shift mangers, as and when required with routine and non-routine operational activities and issues.
  • Have good communication skills to liaise with cross functional teams like quality, technical, maintenance as part of their day-to-day activities.
  • Perform investigations for process and non-process issues in operations.
  • Lead projects of operational importance as and when required.
  • Be a Point of Contact for site wide projects.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant technical experience in the manufacturing-based industry, including: Manufacturing operations support & Project Management.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma methodology and the application of Lean tools
  • Working in a GMP environment would be an advantage but not a must.
