:: Yio Chu Kang Secondary School is seeking a dedicated Operations Support Officer to assist in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the school. This is a contract position from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025, with the option to extend for an additional year. The role requires a physically fit candidate with experience in operations, logistics, and basic facility maintenance to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Role and Responsibilities:
- Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: Shift 1 (6:30 AM - 4:00 PM) or Shift 2 (9:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Friday: Shift 1 (6:30 AM - 3:30 PM) or Shift 2 (9:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Opening and closing the school daily, maintaining general cleanliness, and handling basic facility maintenance.
- Providing logistical support for routine school events (e.g., arranging furniture, setting up equipment).
- Assisting with school safety and security protocols, including alarm system management.
- Reporting and addressing any faults or defects in the school premises.
- Carrying out additional tasks assigned by school management.
- Singaporean or Permanent Resident only.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in cleaning, logistics, or operational support.
- Physically fit to carry out manual tasks.
- Basic communication skills in English, with the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with coordinating tasks and meeting tight deadlines is an advantage.
