Job Description


Job Purpose

The Ops Specialist, Operations Safety, Security and Quality (OSSQ) Section reports to the Manager, OSSQ.

The Ops Specialist, OSSQ Section, assists the Manager, OSSQ, in ensuring that processes in the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and the stations relating to safety, security and quality are met through rigorous audits.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits related to Operations Safety, Security and Quality.
  • Investigate train-related incidents or accidents.
  • Coordinate audits by internal/ external auditors.
  • Track the resolution progress of findings identified by internal/ external auditors.
  • Coordinate control-self-assessment audit on operations and safety subjects.
  • Review and update Operating Procedures, Works Instruction and Risk Assessment Register.
  • Track and report the status of OCC and Stations KPIs, including passenger feedback, compliments, and complaints.
  • Track and report Service Quality KPIs related to the Operations department and work closely with the Trains Service Quality team to drive service-related initiatives.
  • Ensure that all official documents including circulars, work instructions and risk registers are updated on the CCL intranet repository.
  • Issue and promulgate circulars through appropriate channels.
  • Prepare reports for submission to Management as and when required.
  • Perform the role of FRT (Fast Response Team) member and support the stations in crowd and incident management during emergencies and train service disruptions.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the head of department or supervisors.
  • Every staff in Circle Line is responsible for their own as well as their team\'s safety. Staff shall uphold the CCL Safety Mission and 3 principles to complete tasks, perform duties, fulfil the goals of the organization, and adhere to the individual roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Diploma in Engineering discipline or higher.
  • Supervisory experience in Railway industry or front-line operations experience in public transportation.
