Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Aviation financial forecast and reporting process:
  • Prepare monthly financial review (MOR) as per Regional AP and Global Off-highway requirement
  • Coordinate monthly rolling forecast process and review Current forecast and analyze variance to prior forecast, AOP, Prior Year, etc.
  • Coordinate with GBS/ Controlling and related Functions for major deviations; understand drivers for major deviations and identify required actions plan
  • Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process:
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain for 5-Year demand forecast and Thailand Finance for factory cost assumption
  • Lead the discussion with GM and Sales Managers for the Pricing plan
  • Prepare the AOP review package as per Regional AP and Global Off-highway requirements and ensure numbers are correctly reflected in the TM1 system
  • Manage the Month-End Closing process:
  • Coordinate with countries Controlling team for any intercompany entries (e.g. GYSG – GYJAP returned tires adjustment entry) and ensure required provisions are created/ updated timely
  • Review monthly capitalization/ amortization entries, and ensure credit Notes are issued (e.g. GYAU/ GYJAP LRMD Credit Note, GYI Commission Credit Note)
  • Prepare gross margin calculation as per S&OP demand forecast and analyze changes vs. Prior Forecast, AOP, Prior Year, etc.
  • Drive improvement in sales/profit growth cost savings and cashflows:
  • Contribute to financial insights and analytics on a pricing proposal review or a tender/contract exercise. This includes identifying optimal profit through pricing strategy based on market price/ pricing program (SDP, SUP, CPL),
volume impact consideration, and product mix strategy
  • Improve AR through better collections and advance payments from customers. This includes working with SC in shipment scheduling, actively drive discounts were relevant in reducing risks of past dues, and working with the treasury in

offering AR factoring
  • Work together with the Supply Chain team to drive inventory reduction. This includes understanding fluctuations in demand vs production ticketing, drive alignment on what’s the right inventory level and items that contribute to improving
forecast accuracy, etc.
  • Finance lead in the capital investment project and CPEM analysis:
  • Prepare feasibility study/ Capital project evaluation for any Aviation investment projects
  • Review the new Thailand V-price and identify the impact on Thailand Export-A EBIT recovery and total Aviation PL
  • Ensure standard cost and V-price are correctly and timely updated in the SAP system
  • Disputes resolutions:
  • Working with the sales team and customers for any claims or pricing disputes
  • Work with legal and commercial on any company administrative efforts driven by insolvency (e.g., VB airlines, MAS airlines, etc)
  • Regular team meeting on updates on activities against milestones behind warehouse costs reduction, inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, etc.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in finance professional accounting certification from relevant accounting bodies
  • At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, and Business partnering
  • Strong financial analytical skills and accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in relevant systems (i.e. ERP system - SAP preferred), MS Office products, TM1.
  • Interpersonal skills that establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility quickly. Creates a team atmosphere while achieving key objectives.
  • Demonstrates a high level of understanding of how key decisions impact the business and forecasted operating results/cash flows.
  • Persuasive and determined when it’s the right course to do, agile when it is required
  • Stay firm and be the speaker of the truth when it is the right thing to do, even it means impacting the financial negatively; uphold the integrity and compliance principles as the core believes pillar
