Responsibilities * Prepares key project documentation in executing the complete Outfitting & LQ engineering scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting customer's expectations * Pre Responsibilities Prepares key project documentation in executing the complete Outfitting & LQ engineering scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting customer's expectations Prepares fitting equipment requirement for project, drawings, plans (i.e. accomodation positioning, foundations, installation and coordination) and other engineering data, using engineering common network, software and tools under the supervision of senior team members Prepares outfit equipment specifications (i.e.ladders, windows, anchor, windlass, aft and fore anchorage equipment, fire protection and life savings equipments and etc.) for the procurement purposes under the supervision of senior team members Generates detailed calculations for cost estimation, analysis and solutions for Outfitting & LQ design to deliver safe, secure and fully functional facilities based on the customer's safety and reliability standards with supervision from senior team members Provides solutions to commercial, production and project team members on all aspects of Outfitting & LQ engineering deliverables (i.e.deck and internal) to support fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning activities Participates in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to Outfitting & LQ design and reviews the deliverables (i.e.architectural design, interior outfitting design, fitting arming and etc.) Liaises with owners, statutory and classification authorities for design compliance review and approval on the proposed project plans in meeting project requirements Works with Procurement and project team to source for Outfitting & LQ subcontractors and vendors in complying with the project technical requirement specifications in meeting project deliverables Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Marine/Civil Engineering, or any related engineering disciplines Preferably 2 years of working experience in planning, designing and construction of structural, Outfitting & LQ design for Marine and Oil & Gas industry Advanced user of Microsoft Office products and design and structural stress analysis softwares (i.e.AutoCAD, STAAD, PDMS, and etc.) Knowledge and experience in contract specification, understanding class rules, regulations, and requirements from other major authorities to generate production drawings Familiar with relevant material and equipment normally used for Outfitting or LQ and safety design Knowledge of engineering analysis techniques and tools/software applications (i.e.3D modeling software such as Cadmatic or Aveva Marine etc.) will be an added advantage Experience in construction and engineering projects with main focus on LQ and layout arrangements Our Address and work hours Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Tuas Boulevard Yard 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051 (Islandwide transport provided) Mon-Thu: 7.30am - 5.15pm Fri: 7.30am - 4.15pm Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Admiralty Yard 60 Admiralty Road West, Singapore 759947 (Transport provided from Sembawang MRT) Mon-Fri: 8am - 5:30pm Interested candidates with relevant background are invited to send us an updated resume with your current and expected salary, reason of application and earliest availability here.
