Roles & Responsibilities About our client: Our client is one of the leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing companies.

• 
  Please note that this role will be hired on contract basis for our client's in-house projects.

About the role:

• Develop and update detailed working drawing comprising of: engineering flow diagrams, plan layout drawings, elevation diagrams, electrical and instrument circuit diagrams, fabrication drawings and 3D models based on instruction from Area or Project Engineer.
• Maintain and update drafting office drawings, elevation diagrams, isometric drawings, 3D models, with instructions from Manager or Engineer.
• Carry out piping configuration (safety relief valves, flame arrestors, steam traps, spacing, supports, etc.) and piping route recommendation for project / mechanical engineer’s approval.
• Prepare bill of material for cost estimation and purchasing purposes.
• Update drawings (EFD, circuit diagram, etc) based on available information (work order) and site measurement.
• Prepare drawing for tendering and construction.
• Manage equipment master data file, including assets registry, number / codes, tags to equipment and drawings in accordance to procedure.
• Update and maintain to as built status.
• Update and maintain technical library records / info / drawings during project handover.
• Participate in process design review.
• Assist in carrying out feasibility studies / reviews, hazards and operability studies / reviews on new and modified processes.
• Liaises with engineer to prepare documents (design specification, equipment data, P&ID drawings) to enable implementation of proposed modifications.
• Support regulatory audit in the preparation of soft and hard copies of drawings for audits (GMP, PAI, EHS, etc)
• Assists in site project (eg maintenance-related project, building renovation / upgrading / construction, energy improvement project, production / process related projects)
• Identifies, executes and makes improvement on routine work activities.
• Performs job assignments by Supervisor pertaining to equipment or system documentation or housekeeping.
• Assist in monitoring performance and implementing Safety, Health and Environment improvement initiatives.
• Participate in SHE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance-related matter where applicable.
• Any other taks as and when assigned by Supervisors.
• Ensures operational knowledge and technical skills are maintained and compliant with individual training and job requirements.

About you:

• Minimum of Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Preferably 3 years of relevant drafting experience in pharma or chemical industry.
• Able to use Autocad and other drafting tools in addition to manual drafting.
• Demonstrated drafting design in projects, work in cross-functional teams to complete the project successfully within schedule and quality requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and divisional policies / guidelines, especially in equipment design, equipment qualification.
• Awareness of the practical application of theoretical engineering knowledge.
• Assists in providing date to support risk-based decision.
