Roles & Responsibilities FUNDRAISING & DONOR DEVELOPMENT

• Propose fundraising and grant-raising initiatives/ programmes and identify collaborative efforts with potential stakeholders
• Plan and execute fundraising events and phone campaigns

• Develop fundraising materials and collaterals with team members and cross-functional departments
• Conduct research and data analysis for fundraising projects
• Prepare funding proposals, donation appeals and appreciation letters
• Manage donor records on central database and lead the development of new Donor Management System (DMS)

• To provide data analyses on campaign performances and available donor data with the view to enhance donations, relationships and engagement outcomes
• Manage government/ foundation grants, sponsorship opportunities and follow-up closely any applications, submissions and reports.
• Consolidate all corporate and media partnership and sponsorship contracts or letters of agreement.

• Manage and ensure all deliverables, financial, marketing and other contractual obligations relating to all partnerships and grants are met and up to date.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing regulatory requirements for fundraising activities.

PARTNERSHIPS DEVELOPMENT

• Develop partnership development strategy and engagement plan.
• Identify, research, attract, and secure new sponsors and partners.

• Identify and cultivate potential new partnerships to advance EQUAL’s mission and vision.
• Enhance and maintain good relationships with sponsors, donors and partners.
• Build and engage close working relationships with various corporate stakeholders and sponsors.

OUTREACH & DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

• Support Management on key Outreach & Development projects
• Propose and embark on new projects that would extend the reach, profile and presence of EQUAL.

OTHERS

• Any other Outreach & Development areas as assigned by Management.

Technical Competencies

• Educational and professional background in Mass Communications or Marketing will be an advantage
• At least 5 years of fundraising, partnerships and/or marketing communications experience in the social service sector

• Familiarity with donor management, event planning and management and fundraising
• Good communication skills
• Computer proficiency
