Purpose of the position: . To ensure construction activities across SLUP main project and subprojects are executed optimally and efficiently and adhere to plan, ensure there are no interruptions caus Purpose of the position: . To ensure construction activities across SLUP main project and subprojects are executed optimally and efficiently and adhere to plan, ensure there are no interruptions caused by activity clashes between SLUP subprojects and main project, Linde Gas Singapore (LGS) operations and 3rd parties. . To ensure all SLUP construction activities on the existing LGS site, referred to as Sector E, are aligned with all parties, including EPC Contractor and LGS Operations personnel in a timely manner to enable the execution of construction work as planned. . To ensure Mechanical Completion of SLUP and coordinate activities from LGS and EPC Contractor to make this happen. . Ensure pre-commissioning and commissioning works are coordinated and aligned amongst all stakeholders, ensure the right tools are in place to track and have the overview required. Principal responsibilities: . Responsible to manage all construction interfaces relating to MC between SLUP subproject, Linde Gas Singapore Operations and EPC contractors. Examples include, but not limited to: o Coordinating alignment between SPPG, EPC Contractor and the OSBL subproject teams for the construction work required, the walkdowns between LGS operations and EPC contractor teams. o Coordinating alignment between the following subprojects: New Plant, Revamp, Relife and OSBL to ensure successful distribution and sharing of resources and assignment of priorities . o Coordination of Linde Gas as well as EPC contractor Resources in relation to the priorities for pre-commissioning and commissioning . Responsible for providing advice and guide each sub-project teams on construction matters from concept through handover. . Responsible for providing construction related input to the Technical Interface Manager and update the Master Interface Register. . Responsible for documenting agreements between interfacing parties and recording and distributing meeting minutes. . Responsible for following up on documented actions and ensuring timely completion. . Responsible for leading and presenting interface solutions and risks to key stakeholders and achieving buy-in. . Responsible for having detail plan in place to follow the current status and ensure adherence to priorities. . Responsible to coordinate the teams to go on the MC walkdowns . Responsible to assess resources needed for the MC and the Precommissioning works. Key interfaces: . SLU Project team. . EPC Construction Managers and Site Manager . EPC and LGS Commissioning team . EM Interface Manager. . LGS Plant Operations. . Various construction contractors. . Project QPs, . Work closely with Technical Integration Team (Process, E&I). . Work closely with regional and global team for any guidance, feedback, and support. Required critical behaviours (suggest ca. 9): . Analyse progress figures and reports to set out actions required Required key skills (functional/technical): . Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are essential with particular skills in simplifying communications to enable easy understanding and buy-in from respective stakeholders. . Competent and efficient use of Microsoft office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential. . Able to understand construction drawings . Able to read project schedules and identify construction sequences, errors and clashes. . Presentation's skills. . Good knowledge of the use of construction machinery and equipment . Skilled manager of Construction sites and large teams . Excellent in project control tools and set up of reporting . Capable of assessing and identifying problems and giving solutions and taking actions Required qualifications/experience: . Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline - essential. . +10 Years working in the construction in process plant industry - essential . Experienced in interface management for large complex multi-billion dollar process plant construction projects - essential. . Experienced leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams on construction projects in Singapore - essential.
