QEHS and BCM Manager (Corporate) – Cleaning/ Up to $5200 Reporting to the Human Resource Department (Corporate), the Manager is expected to oversee all QEHS & BCM functions and work closely with all Business Units, Head of Departments and peers to ensure statutory compliance, KPIs, organizational standards, and policies set are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the QHSE & BCM team to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of QEHS & BCM and contract governance align with Organisation policies and procedures.

• Maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin QEHS & BCM and operating standards.

• Conduct and periodically review enterprise risk assessments, environmental aspect & impact assessments and threat & vulnerability risk assessments.

• Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QEHS & BCM Standards and the relevance to business objectives.

• Implement the Crisis Management Plan and Business Continuity Plans across all local and overseas Business Units; and provide accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process when required.

• Responsible for management of and liaison with QEHS & BCM auditors to acquire/maintain the Organisation’s accreditations.

• Conduct QEHS & BCM audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting in implementing improvements.

• Report on Organisation’s QEHS & BCM performance to the management team and statutory authorities as/when required.

• Create and execute QEHS & BCM work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by the Senior Management from time to time.

• Offer QEHS & BCM consultancy to the Organisation’s subsidiaries and inter-departments as and when required.

• Review tenders and assist the Business Development team in generating QEHS & BCM tender proposals and related documents.

• Maintain Organisation’s legal register, licenses and permits.

• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety required. Proven relevant track records with a minimum of 7 years of related QEHS & BCM management experiences in facility management, cleaning, chemicals, manufacturing, construction and/or supply chain logistics. Experiences in Industrial Rope Access would be advantageous.

• At least 5 years of experience managing and leading a team of EHS professionals and leading ISO audits.

• Past experience in preparation of ESG report would be advantageous.

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.

• Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF.

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification and/or membership (Graduate level and above) with professional associations (eg. IOSH, NEBOSH, etc) would be advantageous.

• Possess CQI-IRCA lead auditor qualifications and skills on ISO 9001 and 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 22301.

• Prosses BizSafe Level 2 and Managing Work-At-Height (WAH) certifications.

• Excellent MS Office skills particularly in Excel, Words, Powerpoint. Must be IT savvy and comfortable in utilising the Internet Of Things (IoTs) to increase productivity.

• Prosses Class 2 or 3 license and with own vehicle.
