The Publicis Groupe Partnerships division, Canvas, mission is to create open-source innovation co-created with partners for client and industry impact. Canvas creates value for clients through global media agency brands and scaled capabilities across investment, strategy, insights and analytics, data and technology, commerce, performance marketing, and content by harnessing the power of the modern media landscape to drive one-to-one consumer engagement at scale.

Critical to this mission is the collaborative approach across the entire Publicis Groupe (Publicis Communications, Publicis Sapient, Publicis Media), our clients and external marketing partners. The Partnership Director, will be at the forefront of delivering this vision as a key leader in building strategic, commercial and go-to-market approaches, managing partner partner relationships and driving partner activation work-streams across priority Groupe partners.

This position offers an unmatched opportunity to work closely with all functions across Publicis Groupe and be at the forefront of driving our partner relationships and delivering innovation for our clients with regards to platform strategy and partnership management for our client and agency teams. The Partnership Director will be responsible for co-creating the strategy with key partners and maintaining consistent work-streams across key stakeholders across the Groupe including PMX, product and solutions + client teams.

To be successful, you will need to understand how to drive the connection between Groupe functions, client objectives and our partner ecosystems, with a need for strong partnership management, the ability to simplify the complex though client engagements, content distribution, agency 1:1s and senior level meetings. The ideal candidate enjoys operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and competitive environment with a focus on success.

Role Objectives:

  • Help drive the Groupe strategic vision across Partnerships, delivering innovation through strategic partnership plans with key priority partners
  • Align with senior Groupe leadership and the functional leadership community on client and Groupe requirements across: media investment, marketing technology, and product development
  • Maintain, scale and enhance infrastructure, methods, processes, templates, and tools to drive consistency in benefits and product adoption across Partnerships
  • Serve as primary lead with senior executives across partners to bring the best value and solution to our clients - understand demands, gather insights and translate these needs into a cohesive go-to-market approach
  • Proactively identify partner product solutions and integrations with revenue upside across Partnerships
  • Drive development of use cases and best practices to position Canvas and Publicis Groupe as best-in-class with clients and the marketplace
Qualifications
  • 10+ years digital media experience covering planning, strategy and buying
  • Seasoned market leader who has worked across multiple client verticals with activation and omni-channel experience
  • Marketplace management and business development experience, specifically for ad tech, programmatic, social, search and emerging media
  • Familiarity with both agency and programmatic advertising business models
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and strong follow through
  • Ability to juggle a high volume workflow and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Self-motivated problem solver; comfortable wearing different hats
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgement even in ambiguous situations; demonstrate use of critical thinking techniques
