The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Admin or Intern to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee engagement.

Responsibilities as an HR Admin Intern at Workmate

  • Updating our employee records with new hire information as well as getting them enrolled onto our payroll, benefits and insurance platforms.
  • Assist the HR Manager with recruitment activities by posting, updating and removing job ads on job boards like LinkedIn and MyCareersFuture and other social media pages. You would also be responsible for scheduling interviews and gathering feedback after the interviews.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training.
  • Assist in documenting HR related materials for internal and external use.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including conducting employee engagement surveys, coordinating team bonding events, and recognition programs. You would also help in creating and posting birthday, anniversary posts on our internal communications platform and new joiner welcome posts on social media platforms.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support HR projects and initiatives, and provide recommendations based on findings
  • Assisting in ad-hoc office needs, and managing HR administration related matters.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related topics
Who you are and whom we\xe2\x80\x99re seeking:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prfioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva and HR softwares like BambooHR is a plus
  • Passion for HR and a willingness to learn and grow in the field
  • We are open to Part time (2-3 days a week) or Full time (Intern) employment for this role so please let us know your preference!
About Working at Workmate
  • This will be a hybrid work arrangement and a couple times a week you will be based in our Singapore office, currently a vibrant space at Wework @ 71 Robinson Road. We can discuss the work arrangement in detail based on a mutual agreement as well.
