Additionally, we conduct training workshops on data analytics and behavioural insights, helping organisations better understand and act on the growing volume of data they possess.As a small team, we seek self-driven individuals eager to learn and contribute to our mission.We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Web Server Administrator who is passionate about configuring and optimizing web hosting environments. This part-time role requires a commitment of once a week. The ideal candidate will be proficient in network configuration, server setup, and security protocols. This role is crucial for deploying our firm\xe2\x80\x99s website to users over the internet in a secure and efficient manner. We are open to offering this as a contractor role, as long as the candidate is able to commit once projects are confirmed. The individual will primarily be required to work onsite.Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, or IIS) to host our website.
• Set up networking configurations, including port forwarding, DNS settings, and dynamic DNS services.
• Implement security measures such as firewalls, SSL/TLS certificates, and intrusion detection systems.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure high availability of the website.
• Ensure compliance with ISP policies and local regulations regarding hosting services.
• Document the setup process and provide guidelines for future maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
• Proficiency in configuring web servers and network settings.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and port forwarding.
• Experience with operating systems relevant to our setup (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Familiarity with security best practices for web servers exposed to the internet.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
