The Challenges:
Responsible for providing all bed allocation requests and services on a timely manner via bed booking system
Perform bed allocation duties, complying to a set of rules and priorities levels
Identify potential bed tight situation and activate bed tight measures.
Coordinate patient movement with wards and other departments based on bed status if required.
Answer phone calls on bed enquires and respond to or follow up on bed/transfer requests and ambulance arrangement.
Assist in preparation of management reports and provide statistics when required.
Send out Bed Status report on a timely basis and send out notifications of BRO and bed waiting status to designated recipients if hospital BOR is high.
To coordinate and liaise with various parties to arrange ambulance transfer and ensure any special requirements are communicated correctly.
Assist on phone, email or fax enquires
Provide department administrative support where required
What it takes:
Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x98N\xe2\x80\x99 or \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience in frontline customer service or working experience in health care industry
Able to work 2 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
