DESIGNATION : Payroll Services Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the HR Shared Services team, your primary responsibilities involve accountability of the payroll processing for main, separation/ terminations, and ensure any off-cycle payroll in adherence to applicable regulations and statutory requirements (such as but not limited to MOM, CPF, IRAS, WICA, and PDPA), and company policy and guidelines. You are expected to take ownership of highlighting identified gaps, issues or risks you see in any processes and related workings. Once supported or approved, you will see through the execution of these interventions to completion. Additionally, you are required to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the related processes and work closely with the team members to deliver the services and meet the stipulated SLA. You will also be overseeing and managing the inter-company billing process across the group and to review the invoices received by the team and to determine the best approach in managing them. You may be required to participate in the HR transformation programme when process review and improvements are required to improve work productivity, employee experience and service performance standards (through SLAs). Within the team, you will be required to drive continuous improvements. During the course of work, you will be expected to interact with the employees, managers, HR colleagues within and across FPG HR teams, Finance and other colleagues beyond FPG HR.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience / retail industry and payroll knowledge
  • Meticulous (keen eye for detail) and inquisitive
  • Strong team player with good posture towards learning agility
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications especially in Excel and Process flowcharts application
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and HR ERP would be an added advantage
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
  • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
