We are looking for a payroll specialist
The role will start out as a contract
Candidates who are immediately available/ able to start work within short notice will be preferred
The Talent
Experienced in HR ops and payroll environment.
Proficient in Word, intermediate Excel Knowledge
Experience in Singapore payroll
Ability to do tax calculation
Handle all regular and off-cycle payroll operations including validation and approvals, in close collaboration with Finance and HR Shared Services Centre
Ensure correct data entry and calculations required for payroll processing
Handle payroll recharges between entities as and when necessary
Prepare timely payroll reports for regular reporting, internal and external audit
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements
Engage with employees to resolve any payroll issues
Support in all payroll-related projects and duties to ensure continuous improvement in payroll procedures
Keeping abreast of various employment laws, and HR market trends and making recommendations to ensure market competitiveness and compliance
Manage preboarding and onboarding of new hires including temporary and permanent employees. This includes setting up profiles in the HR system, benefits enrolment, reporting details email, etc. * Manage the offboarding process including issuance of letters and payroll management.
Prepare and issue employment certification letters including visa letters, certificates of service, reference checks, etc.
Maintain and manage personnel data in e-file database, HRIS, and other authorities\' portals.
Manage the medical, insurance and welfare benefits for the employees, and ensure vendors deliver against their agreed SLAs and with high levels of quality and customer experience.
