Job Description



Preamble
The purpose of the role is to be a strategic partner to both the business and HR in order to attract, and retain and develop high caliber people to and within the organization, creating innovative people strategies that align to the overall business strategy. Holistically the role is responsible for the end to end employee journey and will involve a mix of client management and human resources skills.

Responsibilities
Business Partnership Drive a strategic, proactive approach to ensure people and culture is at the foundation of all business discussions and aligns to the annual business plans across all divisions. Create and deliver an annual people strategy for attracting and developing high performing people. Together with other HR Business Partners, proactively engage with all departments to ensure that culture and employee engagement is at the forefront of all initiatives that will impact employees. The incumbent will have their finger on the pulse and be seen as trusted advisors by the business on all people matters. Ensure the business is keeping pace with new ways of attracting talent while considering the skills and capabilities required for the future, including being responsible for online channels. Ensure the team has a curious approach to understanding and knowing the business and expertly apply that to people strategies. Provide clear and effective counsel to management and clients on people related issues including performance management, employee relations and Learning Development and organizational design.
Employee Brand Ambassador
Creatively enhance employee brand both internally and externally so the business is seen as an employer of choice and a great place to work. Creatively plan and execute employee and community engagement activities.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, actively reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance Analyze data to determine which employee engagement techniques are succeeding and which ones need to be revamped to reduce Employee churn.
Talent Development
In collaboration with the Learning and Development Department, lead development of people by overseeing appraisal, succession planning and feedback processes to strategically map and deliver development requirements for the business. Lead PB Academy Creatively find solutions to deliver training to all employees beyond classroom learning. Ensure recruitment and learning and development processes are relevant and meet the employee and client requirements
Cultural Champion
Be a champion of our culture, helping the team understand and live our core values through effective programs that promote morale while achieving our company goals. Codify and operationalize our vision around what it means to work at PB and rally the team around that vision. Identify and implement opportunities to improve our employee experience. Assess current programs and propose innovative ways to improve existing ones.
Reports and Other Tasks
Provide management information and reports on HCM as required May handle billing or invoicing or even work with HR to develop employee engagement programs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as but not limited to Finance, Recruitment, Marketing and Sales. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources or related field 8 years proven experience in HR, Business Management, Employer Branding Creative- Creativity in developing programs and methods for engaging an audience toward the success of a goal Relationship-building Skills- Relationship-building skills with business leaders, the community, and the target audience of employees, clients, or others Organized- Organizing, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Empathetic- Empathy, using skills that allow the Engagement Manager to determine what is most important to their target audience, and then working to deliver on an organizational promise. People Person- Engaging, having a natural like of people, a knack for leading, and sales skills that help engage others in goals. Strong Communicator - Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and public speaking skills Curious and Enthusiastic- Interested in learning new things Strong Interpersonal Skills- Flexible, dynamic, and engaging Team Player- with the ability to forge new partnerships that bridge people and organizations Able to prioritize under deadline pressure Responsive to requests from clients, employees, or management Experts in delivering outcomes, achieving goals, and solving problems Excellent with time and task management skills Independent- Able to work independently with less to no supervision
