Job Description


Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience working in HR.
  • Experience in HR business partnering, people programs, or other people-related roles.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management/influencing.
  • Experience in organizational development (OD) consulting.
  • Experience with data, analysis, trends, and reports.
  • Ability to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent teamwork and organizational diagnosis skills.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently to support mandarin-speaking stakeholders in the China market

As a People Consultant, you'll ensure our Google employee experience is the best that Google HR has to offer. You'll focus on Google employees by providing timely responses and sharing knowledge and feedback with fellow team members. You will also manage individual needs with Google's philosophy, principles, and available resources. You will also mentor and consult with colleagues, managers, and leaders to increase overall leadership, team, and organizational effectiveness across Google by using specific tools and processes. You will collaborate with People Partners on programs and projects and work with other People Operations teams, in order to simplify and improve People Operations processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and consultation to the business through coaching, training and advisory support that are aligned to our culture of innovation and fairness, and help to drive the business forward.
  • Support the business through HR cyclical programs such as performance management, compensation planning, and employee engagement.
  • Consult with leaders and managers on increasing leadership, team and organizational effectiveness. Provide fair and consistent advice on HR programs, policies, and other HR-related items.
  • Identify opportunities to drive business goals, improve HR processes, and make recommendations to the business by connecting the dots across multiple experiences provided by Googlers/managers.
  • Identify themes and trends through various consultations and make suggestions for insights and recommendations. Leverage data to tell meaningful story about business opportunities.
