Get to Know the Role
The People Operations Business Partner (Pops BP) plays a strategic role in aligning business objectives with partners and employees in designated departments. You will provide people expertise and counsel to management, covering a full range of HR disciplines including organisational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, career development, compensation, and workforce planning. This is an individual contributor role who reports to the Head of People Operations Business Partner.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Strategic Business Partnering:

  • Serve as a senior HR partner, aligning HR strategies with the business objectives of key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic coaching and HR guidance to senior leaders on issues such as organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Drive HR programs, ensuring they are integrated with the business strategy and organizational values.
  • Address complex people issues, proposing strategic solutions and driving long-term improvements in employee relations, performance, and retention.
Culture and Change Management:
  • Act as a project manager for large-scale cultural and change management initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Support the implementation of major organisational restructures, driving successful adoption across multiple functions.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to build a collaborative work culture that aligns with the company's mission and values.
Workforce Planning and Development:
  • Take ownership of the workforce planning process, developing resource forecasts that align with department objectives and long-term strategies.
  • Design and implement advanced development programs to build leadership capabilities and address future workforce needs.
  • Oversee succession planning and ensure leadership pipelines are developed to support organizational growth.
Data and Metrics:
  • Use advanced HR analytics to make data-driven recommendations, identifying trends and key metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  • Communicate HR metrics to senior leaders, influencing workforce planning and performance management strategies.
Generative AI Tools:
  • In delivering the above day-to-day activities, actively leverage generative AI tools to analyze complex data, generate insights and ideas, draft strategic communications, drive consistency in policy interpretation, and automate repetitive tasks related to HR strategy execution.
  • Enhance overall productivity and decision-making through AI-driven solutions, while preserving a human-centered approach in leadership and business partnering.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
  • Embody the principles of Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility that define a Grabber.
  • 10 or more years of experience, with at least 6 years in human resource business partnering in industries such as high-tech e-commerce, FinTech, hyper-growth companies.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems, Power BI, GSuite applications, and generative AI tools to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluency and knowledge of the cultural landscape in Southeast Asia/Asian markets are advantageous for navigating diverse workforce dynamics.
  • Leadership and strategic thinking skills, with experience leading digital transformation or AI adoption in HR processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the markets we operate in, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management.
