Responsibilities Handle trading of petrochemical products for Petron and opportunities with other refineries or counterparties. Negotiate the price, volume, loading/delivery date, nomination procedures and other relevant terms and conditions of purchase and sale contracts. Coordinate with counterparts from PSTPL's Trading Operations, Risk Management, Finance and Supply Trading during purchase and sale transactions. Provide management with relevant and timely market information on current and future international oil price trends, international and regional supply-demand situations. Establish and maintain relationships with international trading houses, oil majors, ASEAN national oil companies, and other market players. Conduct market research into emerging trends in the industry. Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Trading & Chartering Manager.Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Business or Economics with courses in energy, oil trading & chartering or refining At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in oil trading and chartering. Ability to build effective working relationships with clients, counterparties and internal supporting functions. A proactive and responsible team player who has the ability to think, analyze and respond to different situations in an independent and rational manner. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High drive and strong commercial acumen. Willing to work long hours as necessary.
