Roles & Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Serves patients by preparing medications, giving pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care team, and monitoring customers drug therapies.

\xc2\xb7 Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.

\xc2\xb7 Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.

\xc2\xb7 Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.

\xc2\xb7 Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling patients on drug therapies.

\xc2\xb7 Develops Store Staff\'s pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs and training store staff, interns, and health advisors.

\xc2\xb7 Complies with Singapore\'s drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by monitoring nursing unit inspection.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products

\xc2\xb7 Provide assistance other medical services such blood pressure/ temperature measurements etc.

\xc2\xb7 Housekeeping and maintenance of cashier counter, sales floor and storeroom cleanliness and tidiness ordering of pharmaceutical products and items

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Pharmacy

\xc2\xb7 Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council

\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

\xc2\xb7 Proven negotiation & persuasion skills

\xc2\xb7 Good command of Microsoft office
