In this role, you will analyses system/application architecture; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyses system/application architecture; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints
- Evaluates and tests potential IT architecture solutions to ensure they meet user needs and requirements
- Creates and produces moderately complex IT architecture designs to translate user requirements to solutions
- Researches and produces standards documents
- Researches future industry trends; acts as resource for development staff regarding the use of new technologies
- Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces
- Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions
- Exhibits sound understanding of concepts and principles in architecture and basic knowledge of these elements in other areas
- Requires in-depth understanding of how the area integrates within architecture and has basic commercial awareness
- Trains and mentors junior team members
- Uses evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual information in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information
- Makes direct impact on the architecture area by ensuring the quality of the tasks/services/information provided by yourself and others
- Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information
- Scrutinises Privileged Identity security patterns used by key technology domains in the bank
- Resolves escalated incidents and problems, identify root causes and provide recommendations for sustainable improvement
- In-depth knowledge of CyberArk PAM solution and prior experience as an Solution Architect
- Eight years\' overall Security/IAM experience, with at least three years in delivering enterprise solutions
- Practical experience in both Enterprise IAM and Security (Architecture/Engineering) is a plus
- Experience in working in Agile oriented project organisation
- Ability to split complex requirements into manageable stories
- Experience in working with third-party vendors in delivering projects is a plus
- Secure development life cycle knowledge
- Three years of experience with public cloud (AWS/Azure), familiarity with dynamic, heterogenous cloud-based environments (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk solution
- At minimum a conceptual understanding of Privileged Identity systems
- Experience and exposure to threat modelling and design reviews to assess security implications and requirements for introducing new solutions
- Proven track record of delivering technical solutions
- Capability to identify technical risks, articulate the associated costs and business impacts, and proposing options for solution
- Selects appropriately from applicable Security Standards, methods, tools and applications defined in the bank
- Ability to influence at all levels, effectively communicate topics and build confidence
- Eager for learning new things
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactively seeks out opportunities and implements service improvements
