Perform piping material engineering for offshore platforms and FPSO projects.
Prepare and review piping material specifications, standards, and material classes.
Conduct thickness calculations, and prepare valve and specialty item specifications and data sheets.
Review piping bulk, valve, and specialty item-related MTO, RFQ, TBE, and PO documentation.
Review and approve supplier documents and drawings.
Provide technical support on piping materials and engineering across all project phases -- concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
Apply sound knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, DNV, NORSOK, and NACE.
Attend vendor kick-off meetings, pre-inspection meetings, and participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) for critical valves.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
Exposure to UKCS and PED requirements preferred.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
Strong background in piping material engineering for offshore/FPSO projects.
Able to supervise and guide a team of Material Engineers and provide technical direction on large offshore projects.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated with advanced computer skills.
